As the fastest growing school district in Montana, the Big Sky School District has seen enrollment for grades kindergarten through 4th grade grown from 98 students in 2006 to 157 in 2015/16. K-4 enrollment is projected to grow to 218 students by 2020. The purpose of the levy is to complete construction on the Ophir Elementary School. Ballots must be received via mail at the Gallatin County Elections office by May 3, 2016.
